Actually that's prolly why the finals are slated for Sat ... so you can go home and spend Sun with Mom.

You are correct.

As well I think they were not sure if folks would want to go downtown for two days and on Sun just for finals. It is a little bit of an efforts.

So there was some planning here folks.

Were those predictions - or from the results page? I see 2 notable upsets on irt-tour.com that did happen - Moreno over Mannino, and Hawthorne over Mitch W.

From claiming they were going to spend $120,000 on the IRT Pro Nationals to not spending a dime on it, not airing it at all, is kinda funny don't you think? I'm feeling dizzy.

Updates are on the R2sports tournament site. Looks like Javier is having another good run at the Pro Nationals, he seems to bring his best to Chicago each year. What happened to Croft?? And look at Andy Hawthorne taking care of business. Kane and Rocky were on cruise control. Polo must have been hittin like a hammer. Jack and Shane should be a classic match-up.

Dave Negrete informed me that there is no internet access for him to update the matches as they are complete. He may be trying to do some of it from his cellphone. Here is a screen capture from the site. The link is:

Is Mannino the Chuck Liddell of racquetball?

Unnecessary - d'oh! - Seriously look at his career. Heck just look at his previous US Open title and the circumstances that he won it. Go away with your negative points (pun intended).

I dont think that is as bad as what you are making out Sootty. Chuck is/was a great fighter but he is in a young man's game. Mannino is old by racquetball standards, notwithstanding Swain and Ruben. I think he is about 33-34 years old. That is old compared to Rocky, Jack, Kane, Ben, Mitch, etc.

If somebody called me Chuck Liddell I would be happy. Mr. Green

Absolutely... Also for Javier as well. This is the second time he has taken Jason out in a major event that I am aware of. He is always a dark horse and certainly one player I wish could play the tour full time. He has such a great personality.
