More for the advisory board, put your heads together on this one.

I'd like to have one sentance that sums up what MNP is doing or is moving towards. Are we just a forum, a court listing, rating system, or what?

My thoughts are something about Grass Roots promotion. Thoughts?

I know IM not part of the advisory board, but sometimes my best thoughts are late at night..... LOL

How about "Promoting the growth and enjoyment of racquetball through community, spirit, and friendship."?

Well, just a warning for everyone, I think Willie LOVES asking everyone for things like "mission statements" and etc. I think he'd like to take a permanent class in Technical Writing. You should see the heck he put me through for my Junior of the Month lol. I have four pages of documentation ...just a warning

Q, no need to be on any part of the board, just chime in when you want :), even though Willie's got us all mapped out like board of directors or something, we need input just about everywhere.

Here was my statement
"To further develop the growth of the sport through all faucets including grass roots, to the professional level."

I liked Q's better though. Though I'd like to add grass roots or something like that to it ;)

The mission of MeetandPlay is promoting the growth and enjoyment of racquetball through community, spirit and friendship. MeetandPlay delivers this by bringing racquetball to the people and people to racquetball at the grass roots level.

Wow, great stuff.

I really like Kimi's earlier combined one, along with Joanne's.

If no one objects, I'll put the mission statement up on the About Us page.

It would also be helpful if everyone reminds me which positions you're on and a short (paragraph or less) bio about yourself. This way, I can include you on the list of people making things happen around here :)

Sounds good Kim! Those are some serious credentials! Last week I was finally able to run two miles in 25 minutes...ahahahahaa that was a milestone for me!
