I am sure that none of the top Pro's are glad that he is hurt but I bet some are a little relieved. It gives a couple of these guys a chance at a bigger payday and titles. Personally I hope whatever is afflicting his back is something he can get taken care of in the very near future. Good luck Kane on a quick and speedy recovery!

I hope Jason does redo the draws, otherwise why would he announce that Kane is not playing and then post the draws?

To be out now this long, the back-injury must be pretty serious. I'm wondering if he ruptured a disc, which I don't wish on anyone, let alone a great champion like Kane. Here's to his speedy return!

Gentleman,

Once the draw is posted, it can not be changed. These rules are voted on by the IRT players, and I'm hoping they will vote it down in the off season. Below is the official rule, which was in affect well before my tenure. There's nothing I can do about it.

6) The Draw
No changes may be made to the draw once it has been posted officially, normally 24 hours prior to start of play. In the event a player drops out after the draw is posted, no points will be awarded, no payout of prize money shall be paid and a fine may be imposed as per the IRT player guidelines (Exhibit E). The deadline to enter an the professional division of a Grand Slam or Tier One event is at 6 pm Pacific Standard time, three days prior to start of play.

It's the same injury. He's very frustrated, as you can imagine.

Doctor gave him the OK, so he started hitting again last week. He said he felt normal. He went to play on Sunday, and tweaked it again. Took Monday and Tuesday off, tried to hit on Wednesday morning, and couldn't do it.

That's all I got for now...

Jason, thanks again for the updates!! as I'm still not able to see the updated PDF from Irt_tour.com. I've not deleted my cookies as you suggested as I have a TON of stuff saved I don't care to lose. But... have tried everything else. :(

So, thanks for the updates. FYI: I'm unable to watch the live streaming at work. Internet police here. :(
