A very well deserve win by Ben!!!. That forehand was on fire! Rocky has been playing well but Ben was just too much for him this time. Nice words by Rocky congratulating Ben on his first T1 win. Probably the best match of the season (at least so far)

Ben conducted himself in a much more mature manner last weekend lending consideration that his new deal helped him win (certainly his attitude did). Whatever, hope he keeps it up as he is my fave player since Jason left.

Would love to see someone maintain an antagonistic attitude towards Kane (Ben) so things could get interesting in the future instead of everyone deferring to him and handing him the trophy before even stepping on court. Imagine how Peck, Hogan, Cliff, Sudsy...would have treated him if they crossed paths in their prime. Derrick (sp?) in Kane's early years when they played comes to mind.

Yes. One match in particular was very confrontational (face into face). Kane won but I think feathers were ruffled which is out of the ordinary.

I remember that Jack one. The one with Kane had Derek going for a ball and Kane in the way and didn't get the call. Maybe quarters of a US Open. Next point or 2 Kane right in way again and Derek totally runs over Kane on purpose...then the facial time. :-)

Hope Derek gets remembered for what a great player he became. Just a hair off the greats (seen in matches with them) like Sudsy and Kane.
