Curious as to what bags you guys are using and what the feedback was. I'm looking at the Gearbox Ally Bag, but I don't like that the glove strap seems to only hold a few gloves. I do like that it's a duffel/backpack though.

I'm using a GB backpack - I can carry all my stuff and still fit it in the locker.

Based on your pic, you might like this vid clip, too.

Haha...thanks for the vid.

Is the glove cord integrated into the shoulder straps on the GB backpack?

Yes it is. I fit about 4-6 gloves on it, and sweatbands clip on the bottom. I carry 2-3 racquets, ball can, water bottle, 2 eyeguards, towel (on outside) 2 shorts/shirts/socks/underwear, pair of court shoes (size 9), 5-6 headbands, lock, repair parts, tape, scissors, meds/energybars/ toiletries, mp3 player, paper & pen, $, rulebook, etc...

It can be tight, but it works for me. For tourneys (or other situations), I carry another small bag or backpack with extra clothes.

As I mentioned, I like that it can be crammed into most lockers (for travel leagues/tourneys).

Thanks for the details. That really helps. Does the backpack have special allocated compartments for the racquets? I typically carry two, but would need enough room for a couple of shirts, shorts, rball shoes, and a pair of crocs. In addition...balls, sweatbands, goggles, and a towel. My current bag is starting to get crowded. Growing pains as I'm getting into the sport more I suppose :)

Yes, 3 separate compartments (main body of bag) for racquets, clothes & shoes.

The GB backpack's best feature (over some other backpacks) is myriad compartments & pockets. That's where I organize all the stuff listed above.

To hold & protect my eyeguards, I safety-pinned two wristbands inside the upper corners of the main compartment - I store the eyeguards in their "sock" and capture them with the pinned wristbands. This setup utilizes tough-to-use corner space in the bag, protects the eyeguards from crush & scratch, and keeps them handy at the top.

One flaw - the zipper "tabs" break off easily - zipper still functions, but becomes very hard to grab. When they do, I simply attach a key split-ring and problem solved.
