Was wondering if anyone out there plays this racquet. Been demoing this racquet along with three Gearbox Solid 1.0 (165T, 170T and 170Q) racquets this week. All the racquets play extremely well. Would recommend any of them. However, I have to say that I find my self gravitating toward the Submission. I'm more consistant, and hit more winning shots than I have ever hit before with any other racquet I've used. currently the Head Submission is my choice with the Gearbox 165T not far behind.

Anyway, for those that have the Submission, anyone playing with 17 gauge strings? Did see that Carson and Croft use 17g. If so what have you noticed going from 16 to 17 gauge. Just trying to get a feel of what to expect if I decide to go with the Head Submission and switch to 17 gauge.

Thanks Much

Mike

remo74tg,

Thanks for the reply. I must say after a week with the Submission, I didn't want to send it back. I love this racquet also....and one will be under the Christmas tree!!!!

So have you played this racquet with 17g strings? The factory 16g play well but I think the 17g would give even better control.

Thanks

Mike
