Great to hear and see Kane put in all his effort, training and winning. He thanks himself, and his couch and values his intense all around performance based on his very own efforts. He puts all of himself into these games because he trains, studies, stategizes, performs, and wins. For him to wonder off and thank an unknown type of ET would be lessening his own efforts.

I commend him greatly for saying that today......... You did it Kane, YOU are doing it Kane, and KANE will be doing it again and again.

and Kane has every right to thank himself cause, sure, he's put in the time. He may (or may not) have a "god" but I always think the same ... very weird to be thanking something you may not understand ("god") for something you understand too well (the work you put in). Could you imagine if "god" is up there watching ... do you really think he cares that everyone is thanking "god" for this and that??

The only thing that I didn't agree with was that Kane said that and then waited for a response ?? I would prefer he said it as a statement, not a question.

Not meant to make any religious statements or judgements ... just agree that Kane put in the work ... he should be able to thank himself, and I don't see it as saying anything bad/disrespectful about any god/religion he may or may not have.

Spidey, good views to. I think we agree on it. Imagine yourself trying to learn string theory (not stringing theory stringers ;) ) or quantum physics or any of the other things most of us wouldn't be able to understand let alone realize there is even so much more. And to think that a God of some kind cared the slightest to let "you" play racquetball. That is weird true but weirder is people saying it.

but I also have a lot of respect for those who do have such a great faith that they can say stuff like that ... just my personal preference.

Started when I was young at the Thanksgiving table and the women would all thank "you know who" for putting food on the table, and I would thank dad cause he actually went to the store and mom cause she actually cooked the food :)
