I just heard what John Scott said about broadcasting in higher definition. Does anyone know if this is going to affect broadcasting?

I'm a little worried because I kept getting tons of transmission errors during Kane-Landa match. By the time transmission finally came back, the match was over.

The two errors I got were:
"[server.reject]: virtual host is not available" and something with "streaming not found".

Was I the only one with these problems?

I've tested with all three browsers. I was only able to see 3 points in the andy - jose match and it's been downhill from there.

Really bad today. Same issues here.

Yeah. This sucks.

I'm pretty sure it has to do with the amount people watching and the new changes to HD.

I still have honestly not had a single problem yet this whole week. I've watched almost every point. I'm just running Explorer, not even sure what version, nothing special. I haven't even had it pause at all like it used to so often.

Same here. I'm on a T1, and had the same errors mentioned here most of the day yesterday. Haven't tried it yet today, but I after reading this, I'll probably hold off and save myself the frustration.

I'm having the same problems and its frustrating. i just want to watch some racquetball!! why does this have to happen during the US Open? I tried it on firefox and safari and neither work

I decided to run a very unscientific test tonight. I am viewing the US Open with my uber high tech 17" Dell laptop hard wired into my broadband internet connection while also running the the US Open via a wireless connection on my Ipad 2 via Iswifter. I continue to get error messages and stuttering with the laptop which is hardwired. The Ipad is running smooth as ice. Go figure.

For the last five minutes I've received the "virtual host is not available" on my wired laptop, but my Ipad continues to stream just fine with Iswifter.

I got sputtering but mostly only received that blacked out msg a couple times using Firefox 3-6mps download on XP, my friend in same room using new win7 and IE latest had more problems than me with the same network connection. Although his speed was faster than mine with mine reverberating from his to mine with almost a half to one second delay.

But mostly mine was fine except for jittery sputtering and of course not very clear for HD or even standard definition. Get it true HD like Monday Night Football and you'll get a lot more subscribers...........
