For those of you that have not tried this racquet out yet, you don't know what you are missing. I have been playing with ProKennex for over 5 years now and this is the best racquet they have ever come up with!!!!!!!!

Angel, with ALL due respect ... EVERYONE ALWAYS says this about their manufactuers latest sticks ... EVERY YEAR ... for as long as I can remember. Having said that ... I'm STILL looking forward to trying it next weekend :)

Spidey, I couldn't agree with you more. I see and read it here all the time. Before I posted my original post I thought to myself, here I go, marking out to my sponsor. I almost didn't post anything but I did.

Let me know what you think of it once you tried it out.

I feel the same way. I have only been playing with it for a week but do love it. I held back from posting for the same reason and instead talked about a new ball. But this racquet is great. I do wish that it came with the rubber grip rather than the wrap - but thats an easy enough fix. I think my front court game was improved immediately with this stick.

A new racquet to the market requires a significant investment, our new F Series racquets have been in development for 2 years, with Kane being very involved. The feedback from key staff members is very important to us - Thank you Angel!

ProKennexUSA, I appreciate your support for one of your key staff members ... as I appreciate Angel's support for PK USA. However, is this really "feedback" to you ... on a public forum. No, it's not. And based on the 2 replies, one being Angel's, it does seem burdensome to make such non-specific statements. It doesn't help Angel's/others credibility, nor that of the company he supports.

BUT ... we do hear it all the time ... so it's not that bad. The reason I did speak up was cause I AM really interested in trying out the new PK sticks ... I'm not sponsored by anyone ... I buy my own racquets/equipment, matter of fact I have been on a mission the past year to have at least 1 top end racquet from each manufacturer. You all make excellent products, and while I understand variability in specs can be felt (esp by high end players), I believe that I can find at least 1 racquet from each company that I am comfortable with.

The key, as you are more aware than I, is to try out the racquets. So I would encourage your sponsored players to do more demos. I was a sponsored player once and went out of my way to promote my brand, for the company and for the sport. I held demos, started a collegiate club/team, and supported my brand religiously. They asked me to give feedback on balls, shoes and racquets and I enjoyed that as well. But I saw way too many other sponsored players just going for the ride ... all they'd have to say was "This is the best thing since sliced bread". Which reminds me of when I got back into the sport after a break ... I got caught up in the hype of 1 particular racquet, and was richly disappointed when I got it. I then went on a mission to try as many racquets as I could, gave a thorough description of my experiences and ended up soliciting 2 companies for sponsorships ... if I recall, one was yours (you dragged your feet :)

I think the company which finds more supporters who do these demos/clinics/clubs/real feedback etc .. will be the more successful ... esp with the economy the way it is today.

Lastly, I respect your brand tremendously, as I do Mike Martinez ... it's my favorite. I just believe it can present itself in a more specific manner ... for the benefit of each player and the credibility of the company and its supporters/sponsored players/key staff.

PS there is one guy at my club who liked and bought your KM700 because I let him try mine (a while back). recently he broke it and sent it in. you couldn't replace it because it was past warranty, but gave him a nice discount on a new one. He is a very happy guy. Thank you.

Lets call Angel's comment of the new racquet a high five to the company and a promotion for the new stick. Either way you call it, we like it!

We also appreciate your comments and agree that sponsored staff is obligated to promote the products. We look forward to your "feedback" on the new racquets as well...

We are a new company now based on the belief that it starts with great products and great service. Our staff is small in comparison, but we look for quality rather than quantity and we started by going after the best player we could sign - Kane Waselenchuk.

Jim, I also played with the KM700 racquet last year. This year I will be playing with the FFT175. The difference in weight from 170 grams to 175, I did not notice the weight difference. One thing I did notice though was no need for a vibration dampner. Very solid feel.

Jim, correct me if I am wrong, but are you from South Florida? If you are, I will be at Holiday Park on August 6-7 for the King of the Park tournament that they are having. Feel free to come by and ask me for a racquet to try out.

ProKennexUSA, I will desist from any further comments in reference to your cheerleading skills or I will undoubtedly get myself into immense trouble. Now ... carefully read Angel's "proper response" on how to handle customer service .. ??? (God I hope you are not Mike Martinez or I'll be very embarrassed ... and you clone Angel many times over)

I played with head prior to switching to Pro Kennex the end of this season. I have been playing with the KM700 and I love it. I just did a 1 week demo with the KMF165 and KMF175. Wow is all I can say. I never like a light racquet and I liked the 165 alot. Then I hit the 175 and now I am getting those and using my KM700's for outdoor. The F series this year is everything they are saying it is. I let my friend play with obth as well. He is a sworn E-Force player and is actually looking into trying to get a Performance Player Package from Pro Kennex for this up coming season.

Diesel G - Thanks for the feedback, we seem to be getting a good amount of crossover customers intrigued by the new design.

The new design reminds me of the Shadow series with a straighter top edge. I think the Shadow frame represents one of the best control frames ever made. Dense square string pattern, large headsize, wide throat, and a manageable beam width. A real player's frame that we don't see too often these days with manufacturers developing 2x4 frames to maximize stiffness. I'm curious to see how the F series compares.
