Well the 6th annual Health & Fitness tournament is in the books and I have to say that it was a fantastic time.

Congratulations to the guys from Carbondale (jnessland and his friend Mike) for their 1st and 2nd place finishes in A singles and their 1st place finish in A doubles.
Also, congratulations to Ryker for his 1st place finish in B singles.

It was great meeting Jared and Mike and I have to say that they are on another level. You both played a fantastic game and it truly was a joy to watch.

Also, thanks to Jared for allowing me to try out the Gearbox racquet. My wife is not quite as happy about this since it is about to cost our family a few dollars. The GB250T is a fantastic racquet that I'm about to have in my bag.

Hope you guys had fun at the tournament and we'll look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Also, we've started having a tournament in Centralia, IL. (on the Kaskaskia college campus), in October so we hope to see you there as well.

It was a good time! I have to thank Meet and Play for connecting us with Jared. They invited us down to Carbondale to play sometime and I hope we can make that trip. It seems a shame to have the facility that they have and not have some awesome play.

I also am trying to connect Jared up with Manny Rodriguez. Manny is doing some amazing work at growing our sport and I feel that will be a good match up.....

If anyone is close to Salem and wants to play let either Dave or me know and we can get you connected with us. We normally have games on Monday and Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings. We have 4 to 9 guys playing a lot of doubles, but we generally don't play both courts. Come join us sometime.

Great to meet you guys and thanks for having us up. Tremendous hospitality. Thank Bob and Roy again for me for all the help with my vehicle. Everyone went above and beyond.

Hopefully we can all get together and play in the future, looking forward to it.

BTW, I think Dave makes the best cheese that I've ever tasted.
