Chris McDonald and Rob Mijares won the Tampa Outdoor Classic with great shots and great teamwork.

My high five today is about them having an abundance of class as well.

Here's the scene:

FINALS - Chris/Rob vs Me/Shane. Winners get $1000.00, losers get $500.00. It's brutally hot and both teams had to play a quarterfinal match rather than getting a bye. Already had 10 or 11 games behind us. We're all tired, but I am breaking down and falling apart for all to see. Somewhere around 13-12 or so in game one my left calf turns into a baseball and cramps up bad.

No chance I can continue in 30 seconds or anywhere close. Ref gives me a 15 minute injury time out. I explain to both the ref and to Chris/Rob that cramps are fatigue, not injury, so dont get no stinking injury time out according to the rules.

Rob/Chris told the ref to give me the 15 minutes.

Lot's of so-called "players" out there would have called that stupid on Chris/Rob's part.

Then they whipped us with great shots, hustle and good karma.

Hat's off gentleman. Well done.

Cool story Vic. Both Rob and Chris are true examples of sportsmen! Way to represent!
