I remember seeing Jason and Sudsy play when they were about eight years old. They were real gym rats, always on the court and they could play racquetball and talk sports like grown men. I was a talented kid but they were so advanced at that age it was some thing you had to see.

Later just a couple years after Ruben and I had each been #1 on tour we played them in doubles in a cash challenge match. They were still in high school and I thought we'd blow them out and have to let up. Instead they came out on fire getting and rolling every ball and we were playing all out. After losing the first game I told Ruben to slow it down. We used deep lobs and good court position to win three competitive games. If I didn't roll it they covered it and re-killed it. What was amazing is at the time you couldn't of found a better left side and right side player in the world than me and Ruben and they made a real match of it as kids.

Jason and Sudsy also got to watch two of my favorite matches of all time. Ruben and I played in a $10,000 winner take all match when they were kids and I got hot and took an 11-0 tiebreaker. They also watched me beat Tim Doyle three straight to win my last tour event in 92. Later I got to see them both win The US Open and in wars with Cliff, Kane etc and it had come full circle.

Good to see Sudsy coming back and Jason doing what he's doing!

I did use the backhand lob Z on Doyle and have the video of the match. I will have to use a different serve on you. I'm thinking maybe The Garfinkle Serve or straight garbage serve to your forehand. I can't give you a backhand or any pace.
Remember the four of us hit for the radar gun and you were at 160 mph then. I think I finished a close second in the speed competition. Am I going to have to pick you up in a limo when you come to St. Louis or is that just a NY thing? I think St. Louis Legends Nationals in 2005 was the last event we were both at. That was a pretty good event. Was that the last time you and Jason played doubles?

Anyone else enjoying this? This is why I joined MNP. Now, when are you two going to start showing up on the IRTNetwork? Even if it's an exhibition doubles or singles it would be a classic.

Limos are good anywhere. In NYC it is a must when showing your guests a good time. St.Louis was and always is fun.

I almost feel like it would be selfish to want to see him back now. His kids got their daddy back, and knowing how much I miss my kids right now, being over seas, I can empathise. The itch will probably always be there for him to comeback.
