My wife had me going through storage boxes the other night and I stumbled upon my first Racquetball Mag issues from 1993-1996. I started playing in college during this time and I had a great time looking at pics of the pros in action. I also remember seeing the IRT on ESPN 2 back then. Swain, Sudsy, Hogan, Mannino are still in the public eye (at least in a racquetball sense) but does anyone know what some of these guys are up to?

Tim Sweeney-great athlete, very quick/powerful/smooth

Mike Ray-always pegged as the "control" player amongst power guys

Drew Katchtik (spelling?)-seemed like a tense competitor

Andy Roberts-didn't he have a racquetball academy at one point?

Dave Johnson-watched a great match between him and Swain, very athletic guy

Mike Guidry-seemed like a good all-around player

Tim Doyle-works with E-Force, right?

Jack Newman-wrote a lot of instruction articles in Rball Mag-I think I read that he has a financial services company

Thanks for any input!

I played Sweeney a couple of years ago at national dubs. Still smooth and plays great. Put on a few pounds but who hasnt.

Mike still plays awesome. Great forehand and still in good shape. Plays a few CPRT stops and does well.
Drew Katchtik (spelling?)-seemed like a tense competitor

Andy doesnt play much from what I hear. Still connected with the game via Ektelon but busy with Fedex.
Dave Johnson-watched a great match between him and Swain, very athletic guy

Saw Dave last week at the WOR championships. He might think about playing some outdoor stuff. Still in good shape.
Mike Guidry-seemed like a good all-around player

Dont know.

Tim Doyle-works with E-Force, right?

Tim still plays and does very well. Plays doubles only and is a machine on the right.

Jack Newman-wrote a lot of instruction articles in Rball Mag-I think I read that he has a financial services company

Dont know

I wonder how good Tim would have been had he been full-time on the tour?

Fast hands and really quick. Fun to watch play!

Guidry had neck surgery, he had some kind of ruptured disc or slipped disc something like that. He is working on rehab and getting back into it but it is slow going with that type of injury. Up until a couple of years ago he was winning all the local tournaments and stuff around Texas.
