I think all of us will end up being winners. Tom Curran, Joanna Reyes and myself. Jan Stelma lost by 8 votes.

Hey Congratulations Peter ... think I just read about it in the mag this past week. I'm glad you won ... I still have my 4 ballots with your name on them on my desk ... I just such a lazy bastard sometimes ... but glad you won ANYWAY ... you've got your work cut out for you now.
Hey, don't get me wrong ... I'm a team player, so long as you can keep up.
Blu-Ray is coming ...

We all have our work cut out for us my friend. It will take everyone to get involved to bring the sport to where we all want it to be.

For the record, Jan Stelma was given a 2 year appointment to the Board after the election was over. So all four candidates that ran are now on the Board. Kinda makes me wonder why we needed to vote. I also understand there wa a lot of issues (once again) with the process....ballots missing from the magazine, people unable to get them when requested, and on and on. Why is it that we can't institute online voting? It doesn't seem that hard to do. You enter your member number and verify a zip code or something, and you can vote once. It seems this would elicit a lot more votes. And if you have 4 candidates and all of them are going on the board, why bother with an election and the cost involved? Any thoughts on this?

My thoughts are exactly the same.
Why vote if the outcome is determined.
Why not vote online?
