Has anyone had any problems with python grips recently? I ordered a couple python wrap grips from racquetball warehouse not long ago and both of them had an issue of the grip separating from the adhesive after very little use.

Just wondering whether it was random bad luck or whether others have had this issue. Thanks.

WMcBride,

There has been some issues with the Python wrap grips in the past and have been told by Python that this was fixed. If you bought a defective grip from us, please give me a ring so we can get a different one out to you immediately. I'll be happy to get that swapped out for you.

I recently switched to this grip after using the Extelon clear vue for 2 years.

I can say that my initial verdict on this product is that I don't like the way that it changes the weight and balance of the racquet. I can honestly say that it also changes the swing rate.

I'm still giving it a chance but so far I find it frustrating that I have to adjust to just about everthing including the diameter of the grip which is thicker.

What's the difference between the Python rubber grip and the Python wrap grip? Is the Python wrap grip made of rubber, or is it like the other wrap grips?

Btw Kyle, your Racquetball Warehouse link is pointing to etsy.com (http://bit.ly/DPeQ).

rbhatup,

The difference between the two grips are that one is a rubber one-piece grip that slides on while the other is a wrap grip that is coiled around the handle of the racquet. The Python wrap grip is like other wrap grips in that it is cushioned and in many people's opinion, has more feel to it. Thanks btw, for pointing out my links weren't working. Got them fixed right away.
