It will be streamed from the Quarters on but we are all learning together as to the ins and outs of what is going to happen for payment purposes and fees.

With a good internet connection I think we will always have Pro Men's Racquetball.

We cried, moaned, and griped for Pro Racquetball and guess what?

Dave Negrete and the IRT Network are giving it to us.

As the tournament director there is no fee but for the fans...there will be a fee.

Trust Me!! It is a challenge just coming up with the prize money as the tournament director. Please support these guys. They really work hard to entertain us. Even if it is with a bad temper. It is entertainment. Ask WWE wrestlers.

Its for us the fans. Its drama....it's suspense...it's value...it's the real stuff...it does not get better than this.

With www.racquetballonline.tv such a big hit and now IRTNetwork making a splash...It has NEVER been better to get all the top NOTCH racquetball you can find anywhere on the Planet...unless you are live at the event. That is second to none.

The PURPLE BALL makes a difference in viewing. I saw the ball all weekend of the Denver event. I honestly did. It almost seemed like it was shadowing because of being online and its color.

How cool is that?

Now let's support the IRT and watch these guys battle it out to see who is the best.

Right now...without a shadow of a doubt...it is Kane. It doesn't mean Jack isn't eating, sleeping, and drinking Kane's name everywhere he looks and figuring out a plan to take him. He goes toe to toe but his toes are not big enough yet.
Rocky is a smart player...he will figure it out.

This is exciting stuff.

Right out of the gate it looks like its

Kane (WOW!!!!!)
Jack (only player to take a game off of the King )
Rocky (he will always be in the semi's)
Shane (He is ready to prove himself and now he can replay that Kane match 1000 times and figure this guy out)

JMan...they better come ready to beat him to get into the semi's...and it won't be a walk in the park.

Mitch....he will pull an upset or so.

Ben...I can't wait till he gets back...he will be a pain in the rear on all of them. This kid is going to be one of the top 3 in a few years.

How awesome is it that they are now getting some spotlight?

Good Job IRTNetwork.com

Very good job.

since we are paying for watch from now on, I hope they come out with an instant replay or a way we can choose which angle we want. cause many times throughout the weekend i was viewing from the front court back and couldnt see the shot they hit, just the announcer telling you what shot was hit..

The broadcaster did a great job, he was well informative and entertaining.. thanks dave and anyone else involved.

Assuming you are talking to me:

Here was my response to what I thought were the fees:

"It will be streamed from the Quarters on but we are all learning together as to the ins and outs of what is going to happen for payment purposes and fees."

I answered my thoughts right away.

That is an awesome price. Compare it to ANY other type of entertainment...oh crap that is a steal!!! Heck it cost $25+ bucks to get your racquet strung...

The 'no archive' option on this (One tournament at a time $9.95) is smart and makes good sense.

It would seem everyone should step up to keep this going...

I really hope this works out financially. But don't forget, a lot of racquetball players are historically...cheap...frugal...careful with their money...have other priorities...however, you want to put it, these types of programs have generally had a tough time getting the appropriate financial support.

Take me, for instance. I refuse to pay the $50 annual USRA dues. And I cringe at paying $40+ for a tournament entry. So I just play for fun and rarely compete in tournaments anymore. I am OK with paying for the pro DVDs, which I can watch 10 years from now. But I personally wouldn't get $120 in satisfaction when watching these broadcasts. But maybe that's just me, and I hope I'm in the minority.

Just curious, have you or are you going to pay the $120 for the annual membership?

I don't think I will do the annual membership at this time but I will do the $12.95/mo.

I don't yet know what I'm going to do. With two boys and grad school, finding extra money is tough. I should be able to come up with $13/month though.

Manny, are they going to have the all glass court there? Maybe set up outside on one of the tennis courts or by the tennis courts? Or are all matches going to be indoors? I can see it getting real crowded in there especially when the top pros are playing. Just curious. I won't be playing, but am planning on being there to watch.

And I'll probably pay the $120 for the year subscription if it's for 12 months. If it only goes until the end of the season I will probably do monthly. If it ends in May after ProNationals, then that would be $117 for 9 months or $120 in advance for 9 months. It would be cheaper to pay the $13/month at that point. Just something to consider.

Well heres what I see people doing is buying the months where there are 2 r more tourneys and then watch other archived matches. Are all the Grand Slam events including US Open going to be on there?

That is my current plan.

It is bigger than me, it is for the IRT and the players and our sport.

It sure is.

A year subscription generally means 12 months.

A season subscription generally means a season the sport is going.

No portable court....its a challenge on its own to get the prize money. I am only dreaming about a portable court.
