Qualifying will start on February 2nd.
Please note, the semi’s and finals will be played on Saturday due to local scheduling commitments. Semi-finals will be Saturday at 11am and noon, and the finals will be at 7pm (also on Saturday)!!!

The Red Swain Shootout Tier 1, held 10/27-10/30 is named in honor of Cliff’s father and will include a charity fundraiser for The Angel Fund, which supports those with ALS disease. “It had such a amazing atmosphere,” recalls Swain. “The fact that a club like that still exists is really cool. I remember that back then you’d have a hard time getting a seat, except on the floor or looking over someone’s shoulder. I’d love for it to be like that again.” The club is still owned by the Minto family. Current owner and Guinness World Record holder, Randy Minto, played the sport for 102 hours, 13 minutes, and 42 seconds in 1978 for charity.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to talk about the WOR Championships this past weekend.
First off, a heart felt thank you to Vic, and his lovely wife for spending hundreds of hours coordinating and operating the event. If you have not been to the event before, I assure you it's one of a kind. The people are great, the event ran on time, and the hospitality is like a 4th of july party (as is the atmosphere). Thanks for bringing it all together!
Special thanks the all the volunteers who cooked, cleaned, ran the event desk at multiple venues, set up, tear down, etc! It is quite a process to do all of that under normal circumstances, but to be able to do it under the thumb of "park and recreations" is a feat in itself.
I would like to thank WOR for their support of racquetball, as IRT is excited to be a part of outdoor racquetball and looks forward to helping future growth!
I would like to thank Mike Peters for forcing me to play the event again next year. I can't let him win ever again! I hate you Mike! :)
Lastly, a special thank you to all the fans and participants - without you, it would be just another event. Love you guys...
