I am watching the Rhonda/Shawn dubs match against Jose/Jodi...great play by play Fran! May be your first time on the mic for Racquetballonline.tv ..but you seemed like a natural!

Thanks!

FYI - Rhonda/Shawn won the first game 15-5. Rhonda's hard Z's to Jose's backhand looked tough to return.
We finished up the court today and put the court stickers up tonight. The court looks awesome and can't wait for play to begin!

I played in 9th annual Cinco De Mayo tourney in Pueblo,CO. After not holding the tourney for 2-3 years it was nice to have it back. The PAC club has gone through some major construction improvements and looks great! Deb and her staff put on a great tourney!

There was some good matches as well. I had the chance to watch Mike Burgess play and was hitting very solid. The match I was watching with against Anthony Herrera. Mike won the match in two and was set to face off against Ben Croft today in the finals.

Not sure who won though as I did not make it back down there today.

Deb,Matt and Jordan ..thanks for everything this weekend. I had a great time!

Lynmar is a five-court facility. Please be aware that due to the limited
court space and a large draw you should be prepared to play at any
time. We will be playing from very early in the morning to very late at
night. For this reason we may not be able to accommodate player
conflicts.

Entry Deadline: 5:00 p.m. – Thursday, March 1, 2007
Please allow five business days for mailed entry forms.
We recommend confirming your entry.
I saw a message on the Team Ektelon site that the Tennis Channel was airing the following:

This month, two finals matches from the 2006 IRF World Championships in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, will be broadcasted on 'The Tennis Channel'.

Each match will be shown at 4pm eastern time:
Ladies Doubles:
Team Canada - Team USA 12/27/06
Ladies Singles:
C. van Hees (USA) - R. Rajish (USA) 12/28/06

Repeats from those matches will be scheduled later. Please check www.thetennischannel.com or the IRF website for further updates

After looking at their forum I found a section for suggestions. I left my post for more Racquetball. Just wanted to pass along..maybe we can create a buzz and get what we all want...MORE RACQUETBALL on TV. =d> =d>

P.S. Asked them to change the name to the "Racquet Channel" and display all racquet sports. :-k
I work at a marketing company here in Colorado and the Director is all about Holidays. With that being said we recieved stockings in which we had to personalize.

Just so happen my bag was in the trunk...10 minutes later here is the result! :p  :p

Anybody else have racquetball style Christmas stuff??

Tonight at the US Open they kicked off the Pro Am doubles. Doug Ganim announced that they were short a few players due some players not being able to make it. Missed flights and what not..:-$ Won't drop anybody in the grease and call you out but you know who you are.. haha

In anycase, I had always thought about playing in the Pro Am doubles. I thought it looked like a good time and all the proceeds went to a great cause. So... I went up and asked Doug if he still needed someone and that I was willing to fill the spot.

After some time, my name was called (Last) as they were doing the drawing to see what amature would play with what pro. I guess they saved the best for last cause I was paired with Christy Van Hees.:cheesy:

We played Jack and Gayle Schaffer and lost 15-13...but had a blast!!

Just curious...how many tourneys do most of you play in a year? I figure I play about 12-15 a year. This includes tournaments in your state and out.

What do you all think is the best shoe out this year? I like the somewhat New T9 Roadster by Ektelon but nothing is as comfortable as the Nike Zoom Speed shoe. =d>
Well it is that time again for some great doubles action in sunny Tempe, Arizona. I was down at the ASU Rec center, the host site for doubles, tonight and was able to check the Ektelon Demo which was pretty cool. John Ellis, Rhonda Rajsich, Andy Hawthorne were there to show off the equipment and also had the radar gun out. People were able to hit with one of the three Ektelon O3 racquets, 5 balls on the forhand then 5 on the backhand. The person(s) with the highest MPH were given a prize for both.

Tomorrow action starts at 12pm. The draws are solid and for the most part, looks like another good turn out for overall entries. I will post again tomorrow with more news.

A big shout out to Leo. Wish you were here buddy!
I personally like the Green ball for tourney play but also like the purple for TV play.
Anyone else having a problem with this??#-o
