I am looking to buy 2 Ektelon Traveler bags. Of course if you only have one that you want to sell, I will buy one.
Have a blessed CHRISTmas,

Anyone going to submit a suggestion or multiple suggestions for the USAR?
I guess everyone has the USA Racquetball magazine by now. If you read the letter from Dr. Hiser, Ph.D and Mrs Kirk, you will see they are asking for their customers, to submit suggestions. So basically the non paid customers, to help out the paid "experts".
I guess their idea of charging AmPRO instructors to get re-certified and repay for a system that was already working very well under Gary Mazaroff, did not bring in enough money or do the things it was suppose to do.
I really try not to be so sarcastic, but it is difficult sometimes.
Ok, it is CHRISTmas time and I will focus on good will toward all mankind.
I will submit a few suggestions.
Does anyone else find it amazing that Kane's first 4 US Open opponents have not scored enough points combined (30) to win one match, 33 points minimum required?
Is anyone not getting email notices of PMs waiting here on MNP? I have not gotten any notices. I try to check every 3 or 4 days, since I dont get alot, but have responded a few days after getting them. And then dont get a reply back from those who PM'ed me.
If anyone is looking to buy Ektelon Ignite racquets SS, I have them in stock. I only have 14 left.

What is your feedback on your personal playing experience with the EXO3 Attack or Ignite racquets?
Is anyone else upset that USA Racquetball is trying to raise more money, by having present AmPRO/IPRO instructors, get re-certified?
They are saying that what Gary was not good enough, so they want us to pay for another clinic, and if there is no clinic close to you, to pay for travel and hotel, while attending the clinic.
Some of us are Lifetime members of AmPRO/IPRO.
Anyway, this is the email that I sent to Hiser and Cheryl Kirk, and a few others.
I think this program is just another way to suck money out of instructors. AmPRO instructors have been trained by very qualified people.
I find it very deplorable.
If you felt that Gary was unqualified, then why did you ask him to join into this new money raising project?
This is very unsettling.
I would think that you could come up with ways to make money, that dont punish people that are working to grow racquetball in the grass roots. We have paid to go to AmPRO clinics, many had to travel to attend these, and you want these same people to endure the same expenses.
While you are sitting behind your desks, why dont you think of ways to make money to pay your salaries, without punishing people that are working just as hard, and in many cases, much harder than anyone in the "UPPER management" of racquetball.

I know that many of you know Rex Lawler, he is going to have heart surgery this Tuesday. Please say some prayers for him and for his surgeon. Rex is a great guy and a true gentleman.
I just recently found out that my Mom, her name is Patricia, is going to have some skin cancer removed from one of her legs. I know that you dont know her, but I would greatly appreciate any prayers for her and her surgeon as well.
Thank you!!
God bless you,
Chuck
I need shoes, googles, and a racquet. I have never bought shoes before so I know nothing. What do you have
I have paid Abhi $230 for some racquets, and paid via paypal on June 17, 2009. I have not gotten the racquets. I think I have been more than patient. I wanted to find out if anyone has information on this individual. I have opened a dispute with Paypal and will continue further with that.
This is not only a request for information, but a warning to others, to not deal with this individual.
I dont know if this person is just a low life scum, or someone desperate for money to maintain his family. If he only needed money, he could have asked, I would loaned or given him money. However, I very much dislike to be cheated and/or lied to.

This is the information from the Paypal dispute.
Thank you for your help. I will keep all persons name and information, confidential. I had a Top Secret Clearance in the U.S. Air Force, so I know how to keep things completely quiet.
If enough of us put in suggestions on different websites, I think they would add racquetball as one of the sports listed and give results and updates. I thought of this when looking at www.yahoo.com and did not find racquetball listed, but found many other sports.
I just sent yahoo this message:
Would there be anyway to get racquetball information on the Men's and Women's professional racquetball tours? International Racquetball Tour(www.irt-tour.com) for Men and Women's Professional Racquetball Organization(www.wpro-tour.com) for Women. Racquetball is an exciting sport and amateur racquetball players increased by 18% according to the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association in 2008.
Nothing really fancy, but giving them some information, that they did not have to look up, and give them a reason to give it some thought.
If more people were to send in similar suggestions to yahoo and different sites, I think someone or several people will listen and start posting results. Good free advertising for racquetball. We need it.
I am interested in buying an O3 Copper. Please PM me or email me at RCQUTBALLER@yahoo.com
Thank you,
Chuck
Is anyone looking to share their room at the Hyatt? I will be there May 21 and leaving May 23.

I am sure there are people that are excellent at making flyers or other materials that can be used to promote racquetball. If those people have a place to submit their creations, so that all racquetball people can download them and put them up in various locations to get people thinking about racquetball while reading this information, we would all benefit.
Making them so that dates. locations, contact person, etc... can be input would be a huge advantage.
These are a few ideas that I had about possible flyers:
Beginners clinic
Doubles social night
Challenge night
Juniors bring a friend intro to racquetball
Baseball players try racquetball to improve batting
Improve your footwork, while chasing a racquetball moving 100mph
Ladies only-bring your neighbor social day
Informational materials such as:
Basic rules and safety
How to start a league
How many calories are burned per hour in singles and doubles
Where are racquetball courts in your town both indoor and outdoor
Why do Nadal and Federer use their wrists in playing tennis?
These lists are very short, I am sure that others have more and better ideas of downloadable files.
Does anyone agree that to grow racquetball and bring it more into the public eye, we need more and bigger companies sponsoring all areas of racquetball? From tournaments to grass roots programs, and starting the grass roots programs.
I think we all agree on that.
There are obviously ways to get companies to sponsor tournaments, and many of you have found those ways in either small or maybe medium amounts of dollars, food or maybe products.
What motivates people to search for sponsors? Money, recognition and love of the sport. I think those are the top three reasons. How can we maximize these motivational factors?
Money-Give the person finding the sponsor a percentage. Does this sound wrong or bad? Why not give some benefit to the person that is putting in their time and efforts? 5-10%?
Recognition-Put in a section that highlights the new sponsors that come in each quarter. This will be of immediate recognition to the sponsors and to us players. Sponsors may decide to put in some kind of special offer or discount for players using there products or services. Also in this section, high light the person bringing in the most sponsor dollars that quarter, and then have an annual award. Yes, on top of the money that they are receiving. Some people like to have their picture showing and to receive credit for the efforts.
Love of the sport-I think this is an area that we all fall into, but how do we maximize this love to translate it into finding money to grow our sport? Any ideas? This could be such simple things as doing car washes or bake sales or ???. This can be done both at racquetball clubs and locations away from racquetball clubs. Having them away from racquetball clubs, can give exposure to racquetball to people that see the signs for the car wash or bake sales.
I think there is also a possibility for a permanent position(s) for sponsor finders, if they are given a percentage of the sponsor dollars that they find.
These are hard times, but companies still need to advertise. We need to find ways to maximize that exposure for sponsors that step up and want to team up with racquetball.
This needs to be a close interaction between the racquetball players and the sponsors. Having a way for players to notify sponsors with each time they use their facilities or products, would help to support continuation of sponsorships and to show other companies that they will get their money's worth.
I wanted to know if anyone else feels that getting things going with racquetball courts in apartment complexes is a very unstressed area of development?
I am looking at this in three ways; First and foremost a way to grow racquetball, second income source for USA Racquetball and third a good thing for getting more new Apartment complex projects, to build racquetball courts.
1. Have a section in Racquetball Magazine where apartment complexes can list the location, phone number and number of courts at their location. Listing fee would be necessary. Different levels of listing. Certain levels can include complimentary issues, that can be available to players at those courts.
2. Contact apartment complexes that have courts and give them complimentary issue to see where they can get listed.
3. Sponsored players can locate apartment complexes that have courts and post information(including local tournament schedule) and provide beginner clinics monthly. This and item 4, does not have to be limited to sponsored players, it would be a good thing for anyone to step up and help with.
4. Start leagues that could evolve to competitions between teams from different apartment complexes, city wide traveling league. This can not only be fun, but the league organizer can make money by charging to run the league. Can get sponsors for after competition get togethers.
5. Contacting new apartment projects, with the information of being listed if they include racquetball courts in their facility. First year complimentary with feature spot corresponding to their grand opening. This information might best be made available in publications for General Contractors and project managers.
6. Put questionnaire or notice in Racquetball Magazine to ask members to submit information on apartment complexes that they know have racquetball courts.
Thank you for reading,
Chuck
Pictures sent when requested. This is not complete list, if you have a special request for used racquet, please let me know. I try to add racquets as they come in, but it is hard to keep up day to day.
Most of these racquets were traded in to upgrade to newer racquets or change manufacturers. If you want to work something out to trade in yours, let me know. I will do my best to help you out.
[b]Discounts given for multiple racquet purchases. Lower shipping costs too. Does not have to be for just one buyer. Order together with your friends.
Most racquets DO NOT come with covers.

It is getting close to that time of year again, when we decide what our New Years Resolution(s) will be.
Any ideas? Same ones from last year and the year before that. The ones that you decide to do definitely and then have stopped doing them, by February of that same year.
How about a new one. One that can possibly be much tougher than any you have decided to "attempt". Sound interesting? Sound scary? Ready to stop reading?
Ok, here is one possibility:
Set yourself a goal of talking to one new person each week about racquetball.
Yes, I am serious. Can you do it? Do you want to grow racquetball? What better way to grow racquetball, than through word of mouth ADVERTISING? Can you think of a better way? Ok, you can make million dollar commercials and put them on during the SuperBowl. What? Dont have a few million dollars? Oh.
It is simple and it is tough. Talking to people can be scary for some of us.
When you see someone that looks physically fit, physically unfit or just somewhere inbetween, ask them: "Do you play racquetball?" Yes or No response is required. Or possibly, no I dont, but I used to play in college. I miss it.
Or, I used to play, but I just moved here and dont know where to play.
Or, I have heard that is fun, but dont know how to get started.
Or, No, I dont, but my brother used to play.
What is the worst possibly thing that they can say? "No". Then you can say, do you have any interest in learning about how to play racquetball and where?
If you want to really get serious about this, you might have a notepad and pen and write down the number of a racquetball club in that area and possibly your number or email address to help them get to know some people. Or get some cards from your club and write your information on the back. The club, might even give you something for bringing in new members. Talk to them about it.
Talking can be fun, and I think most of us, like to talk about racquetball. I think most of us, want to see racquetball grow too. Am I right?
Happy New Year!! What are you going to do differently this year??
