It's funny...as I sit and write this, I hear Luis Armstrong on Pandora singing Wonderful World. It could not be more true. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your support.
As we at the IRT Network decompress from a great weekend, I can't help but thank everyone for the great support, the advertising, the kind words, and for believing in our venture. For me, the US Open stands for everything that is good in our sport. It is a great testament to what happens, when we, as a sport, come together and "listen to the music"...now playing on Pandora! Over 740 players, sold out attendance, record numbers viewing online...it's just amazing.
Just before getting on the flight home last night, I was eating a quick bite with Rocky Carson, his father, wife, and my wife. He asked what I thought about the event and if it were a success. It was the first time that I had a chance to step back and reflect, and I had to hold back the tears. It was the most important event of my life and for the Network...and yes it was a success.
Hey look, new song just came on...Somewhere over the Rainbow by Israel 'IZ' Kamakawiwo'ole.
Thank you and God Bless,
John

Great news from the IRT Network. We are working on some great changes for the upcoming season. Many of those changes have been mentioned right here. I can't go into full detail now, but next season look for FREE matches at every T1 and slam. Our plans are to not only have the round of 16's viewed, but to include the quarters...all for free. There will be a vip section which will include the semi's, finals, monthly chat with the pros, monthly "state of the tour" web casts, archived matches, and much more. Next year the questions asked during the post game interviews will be asked by the vip members. VIP membership rates will be less than $10 a month! We are working also on exciting additions like instant replay, celeb guest announcing, and much more. Recently I have turned my life upside down in efforts to bring a great product to the fans...not the least of which has become official today. Effective now I have taken over ownership of the network. I understand that there may have been some issues in the past with tech issues, customer service, etc...but this is the future. I look forward to working with J, the pros, the USRA, and the fans...without you, none of this would be possible. Look for more info soon. Thanks again-John Scott www.irtnetwork.com
The IRT Network will be live this weekend in LA...what's your predictions for the quarters? Be sure to tune in as I plan to track down the new Commish...can't wait for a great interview!
Hi everyone. I wanted to let you know that the IRT Network will be live this weekend in Portland. Jman, Pratt, Vandy, and Rojas will all be there. Quarters and Semi's are Saturday, Finals are at noon on Sunday. Feel free to post any questions that you would like me to ask in the post game interviews. Thanks for all your support!
