Up and down, when its up it only partially up. Wonder how its affecting current tournaments.
What's up players? Doesn't look like the best participation numbers this year.
How many MNP members are representing?
could have been an exciting match except for manninos floor checks and calling in the towel boy after every rally. Anyone new to racquetball would not be attracted to the game with a boring pause every 2 minutes. He should ditch the sleveless shirt and wear a short or long sleeved shirt because of his diving or excessive sweating.
Annoying time outs and dangerous to the opponent. Would you play someone like that? An occasional wipeup or shoe lacing is tolerable. But this was extreme. jmo
So since the other thread has more or less been hijacked, Anyone here know what up with the old and/or possibly new association? Will they still hold tournaments this year including State Singles or Doubles?
I noticed a difference after having my racquet restrung recently. I had the stringer put tension at 35 lbs. Another stringer at the gym had a tension meter with him, checked it and found it to be at 50 lbs! Are these meters accurate?
If so, where can they be bought and which brand is best?
Hi everyone, first time poster, year-old player and lurker,

I begin playing after watching the game while working out. I'm addicted and learning the history of the sport and its struggles to grow. I thought I'd contribute my 2 cents toward the growth of racquetball.
I know some players don't care about what they wear or say it doesn't influence the game but it does. We need to support the sport and another way to expose the game and manufacturers brand is by wearing your logo of choice. People on the street or in the gyms will notice the stylish Tshirts and may ask questions and become intrigued with racquetball.
That being said, I believe exposure of manufacturers names on streetwear like T-shirts and clothing is very effective but rarely done. I have seen a few shirts in public with Ektelon, Gearbox and the like, but the thing that puzzles me is that the clothing never says RACQUETBALL on it, thus these brands really don't associate anything to potential players. Why don't these brands mass produce these inexpensive t-shirts and sell them or give them away as promotional items at tournaments, with a racquet purchase, or to have team players give out to recreational players? Walking billboards.
I had never skateboarded, but I knew who Tony Hawk was because my friends wore his shirts, I got a couple because they were cool and before I knew it I was boarding everyday. The shirt/ logo was the spark that started the fire.

I dunno, just saying.

Anyway, what do you think?
Which manufacturer has the best looking Team apparel?

Shirts?
Shorts?
Warmups?
Shoes?
Socks?
Caps?
Bags?

08/09 apparel:
I think Pro Kennex has the best looking Shirts, although the shorts are always short on their players. Best looking warmups. They don't have any additional clubwear like caps or t-shirts. Shoes were stylish. Bags always look nice.
Ektelon seems to have the largest selection and more current clothing... offset logos on shoulders, side of tshirts, bottom of back, on the sleeves and vertical print. Nice shorts with different logos on various spots. Very cool.
Gearbox also has nice apparel and lots of choices which includes full line courtwear, clubwear, caps, etc.
Eforce seems to have a full line of clothing including caps. Warm ups are very nice. The bags always stand out.
Wilson appears to have limited stuff, never see any of it, but their shoes are decent looking.
Head clothing was always outdated looking but it appears this coming year they jumped ahead and have boldly come out with some cool looking t-shirts and bags. My young crowd will really go for this. Pimped out! We are the future and we style.
