We are in the beginning stages of setting up for a new season of IRT racquetball. David Leon will be the tournament director with me and a few people organizing and coordinating the event, we are looking forward to an awesome tournament. Details will be discussed at our next committee meeting and I'll follow up on this thread.
We hope everyone will support us and assist in a smooth and fair gameplay.

I'd like to announce our official Facebook site, San Diego Outdoor Racquetball. Please, if you have a chance to add yourself to our site, we will be announcing any and all future events and meets at this location. We've had great success in drawing players from the San Diego area to include Jackie Paraiso, Alvaro Beltran, Paola Langoria, Marc Krandel, Rafael Filippini, to name a few.
If you've ever had an inclination to try outdoor racquetball, meeting with us is a great opportunity because you will be with your peers. We are trying different locations and so far Ocean Beach and Eastlake Chula Vista are the favorites.

I am having another shootout event this weekend, Sunday, June 28th @ Eastlake Community Park (next to Eastlake High School). Open play from 1:00 PM then depending on the head count, name drawn for doubles shootout starts shortly after. Hope you can make it and let's have a good time. Gearbox prizes given to first place winners.
Anyone up for another day outdoors, I'll be there at 8 A.M. Please spread the word.

I apologize for the very short notice. A few of us are meeting up at Robb Field Outdoor Courts this Saturday, June 13th @ 8 A.M. This is a very informal meet to test the prospect of having this event on a weekend basis.
For those who have never played outdoor racquetball, I highly suggest attending. We'll place names for random draw with a doubles partner. We would like to promote this sport and look forward to a promising future.
Please bring your own food, drinks and chairs. Let's have a good time. Hope to see you there.
