I will be at Navy Pier in Chicago October 12th-14th on business and am looking to play.
I am a low Open player and would appreciate any help in finding a match during the evening.
I have never used these particular racquetballs and they are the official ball in an upcoming tournament and I was wondering how they play? Are they similiar to any of the other balls on the market?
I am in a sticky situation and would appreciate some feedback.
I recently started playing again and would like to get back to playing open tournaments but am unable to play on Sundays. There are no one day shoot-outs in my area so that's not an option. There are very few Open/Elite players in my immediate area and I have to travel 2-4 hours to find serious competition.
Do I play weekend tournaments and forfeit if I make it to Sunday, don't play at all, or try to make arrangements to play Saturday if I happen to make it to a Sunday match?
I get the following message everytime I attempt to use the search fuction.
"An error occurred in the database"
Help please!
Just unpacked an ancient box of my old racquetball stuff and found an old can of red Z-Ball, pump up racquetballs, and some old Voit Rollout Bleu's.
Anybody remember these?
Any players in central Alabama area?
Montgomery, Prattville, Auburn, or surrounding areas?
I have enjoyed reading posts for the last week or so and here is my introduction.
I started playing at 12 yrs old in Louisiana and won several state and regional age divisions and some local Open tournaments until I left high school for the Army. Participated in the All Army trials and lost my first year to Jimmy Lowe and the second to Dan Fowler. Desert Storm interupted my playing, followed shortly by a tour in Somalia. Had a couple of minor knee scopes when I returned and haven't played or exercised until about six weeks ago when I started playing again. Needless to say I'm woefully out of shape! I've already lost ten pounds and need to lose 20 more. I'm currently playing at the local YMCA in Montgomery and occassional with a friend at Maxwell AFB. Will consider playing tournamnents in the area if it doesn't include Sunday.
