Anyone use this string in either 17g and 18g? Thinking of giving it a roll in 18g on my Head Submission.

Appreciate any insight.

Looking for a new string for my Head Submission, I've got two racquets and one seems to have lost enough tension that I hit shot that don't go where I want them to go. Other racquet is fine with the factory megablast 16's Wanting to go with a 17g multi string, but not sure what to go with. Any help would be appreciated. Anyone use the new Technifibre 505 NPR? (no there was problems in the past?) Also thinking of Prince Premier w/ softcoat 17g. As for play, I hit the ball with power, not a string breaker, like to have ball control. Basically all court play.

Thanks

Was wondering if anyone out there plays this racquet. Been demoing this racquet along with three Gearbox Solid 1.0 (165T, 170T and 170Q) racquets this week. All the racquets play extremely well. Would recommend any of them. However, I have to say that I find my self gravitating toward the Submission. I'm more consistant, and hit more winning shots than I have ever hit before with any other racquet I've used. currently the Head Submission is my choice with the Gearbox 165T not far behind.

Anyway, for those that have the Submission, anyone playing with 17 gauge strings? Did see that Carson and Croft use 17g. If so what have you noticed going from 16 to 17 gauge. Just trying to get a feel of what to expect if I decide to go with the Head Submission and switch to 17 gauge.

Thanks Much

Hi all new here. I'm in the market for a new racquet. Been playing the EXO3 Black but it became a doubles casulty....frame cracked.....hit partners racquet. So been looking at the new Gearbox solid 1.0's. I know I should try and demo but I'm just going to take the leap. Wondering if you all could supply some feedback. Leaning toward the 170 Q, but was considering going to the 165 in either Q or T. What are the differences in the Quad and Teardrop frame in playability. Haven't played a racquet that is head heavy, but noticed these Solid 1.0 have a much lower swingweight compared to the EXO3 Black...plus the black is coming in at around 198gms and the Gearbox racquets are lighter.

Anyway, any help is greatly appreciated.

Mike
