If anyone out there is interested we are running a charity tournament for our local YMCA located in Everett, WA and their Invest In Youth Program. We are looking for any donations of gear or clothing etc....What we do is run a silent auction in conjuction with our tourney and all of the money raised from tournament entry fees and silent auction winning bids goes directly to the Invest in Youth program.
If you own a business and would like to donate we would be happy to include your logo/website address on all promotional materials. If you are an individual and have some old gear that you would like to donate we would love that too.
PM me and I can send you address for shipping.
Thank you,
Ryan Matthews
Does anyone have yellow lenses for the Wilson N vues that they do not use. I really need some new ones for my nvues, but nobody carries replacements. I would be willing to buy them.
Thanks,
Ryan
anybody out there have a line on the new wilson shoes for this year?
Ok I need some advice. I need to get some new prescription eyeguards for my wife. Who wears what brand/model and how do you like them?
Thanks,
Ryan
Should the crowd be quiet during Pro Match play (i.e. tennis)? It seems to me outside of being annoying at times for the rest of the crowd when somebody is talking loudly during a match that it may interfere with the play and/or the calls (especailly on a skip).
What are your thoughts out there?
I am looking for a used hc2 165 for a guy at my club.
Anybody out there have one for sale?
Pm with price if you do.
Thanks
Hi all. I am just now really learning to play doubles at a high level and I was hoping for some advice.
What are the best serves for doubles? I play with a left handed partner who likes to serve to his forehand side so I generally serve to my forehand side (right hand side of the court if you are in the service box facing the front wall).
Thanks for the help.
Based on the new survey on what players participate in at their clubs I wanted to see what events those of us on here participate in at our clubs (leagues, tourneys, challenge court etc...)
Does anyone do anything out of the norm? The norm see to be as follows:
1) leagues
2) tourneys
3) challenge court
4) demo nights
5) Lessons
5) Mixers/Social Events
I am looking for some new ideas for my club to do. We currently do a league, tourneys, challenge court night and a demo night once a year.
What do you have at your club?
Thanks,
Ryan
Ok my wife is pregnant with our first child. I am dying to find some racquetball baby stuff to put in the babies room. Has anyone found anywhere to purchase any? Maybe a stuffed/plush racquet? etc....
Thanks for the help
This is the promised off shoot on the topic of bad calls and not knowing the rules from the other forum of stupid things heard at tournaments.
I put forth that most of the bad calls and stupid things that refs say/call would be cured by going to a mandatory referee certification at all tournaments. I know this is being done in some states (NC for one) and believe that it should be adopted by all states.
Do any of your states do this and how does it work?
This is one of my 'hot button' issues with how the tourneys in my state are run.
Is anyone playing with the Wilson RX 160? I am playing with it this year and I had one just shatter on me. I did not hit the wall or anything just a regular forehand and the racquet just shattered. Any one else break one of these yet?
did anyone get their new gear yet? If you did what did you get and how do you like it?
Any team Wilson players out there able to get their contracts yet? When I log on there is nowhere to approve mine. I did get the email saying that the contracts are out and I can approve mine now, but the Wteam site has no info about this on it.
Anyone out there get theirs to work?
I have seen the racquet pics. Anyone have pics of bags, shoes etc... for new Wilson gear?
Thanks
I have one barely used 03 red for sale. Looking to get $75 shipped.
If you are interested PM me.
Thanks,
