Most people hit forehands better than backhands. Its easier for most people, especially when it comes to power. Where do you think the backhand power comes from? Legs and hips? shoulder rotation? Arm? Wrist? Where does that easy backhand swing, that generates real power come from?
I love to serve a Z serve in front of my body, not very often, but once in awhile when someone is having trouble with it, they start calling a screen. Which i can understand when it comes near me. But today this guy was calling a screen, so i continued to back up, and back up, and back up until my back was about 2 ft from the wall. It was doubles too, so he was standing in the corner where my Z serve was going, i dont understand how you can call a screen just because you cant see the ball for 1 second. You know where it is going, You cant see the ball for a second on any cross court drive serve, what is the difference??

Where is the best place to buy glove liners? Are their different types? Different sizes? Left and right hand? Or just one liner for both?

Do we really need another racquetball forum?? Was the meetandplay like myspace and now 40by20 is the new facebook?? How many people are really going to be jumping back and fourth between multiple racquetball forums??
Playing challenge court tonight, doubles. The players on the court were B-low A players. This guy hits a ball off the back wall which goes almost half way between the front fault red service line and the wall. He is running and hits the ball head high, about 5 feet from the front wall. He then dodges out of the way so the ball doesnt hit him. As im standing behind him about 8 ft. The ball is a wild shot, and would be coming off the back wall again, but i just wanted to take the hinder since he is now standing right in front of me at the wall. He then tries to sell me on this.....

You can hit the ball right back at yourself when you get real close to the front wall. Asked him where in the rule book does it say that? He says, well its not in the rule book, its Geometry.. Not everything can be placed in the role book.... COMEDY!! I have never seen a guy so insistant on a call. We had about 6 guys watching, they all said.. hinder dude. The guy goes on to say, he knows pro refs, he watches pro stops. all this crap about how you can rip a ball at your own head then move out of the way and its not a hinder if your 5 ft from the front wall. He says he reads the rule book every week. It was really funny. What can I show this guy to shut him up??

Its still summer, and i was thinking after the big showing for Nationals, it would be pretty easy to find some weekend games around here. Where are people playing outdoor at now?
If you took all the toughest matches, at the highest level you have ever played at, and never let yourself dive for a ball, would you still have won all those matches? Does your ability to dive for a tough ball make you a better player? Lets say out of 10 dives, afterwards--how many of those balls do you think back, and say " I could have got to that one without diving?"

I have to say, this event I participated in last weekend was the best racquetball experience I have ever played. I dont even consider myself an outdoor player, until now!! I can see shots in my sleep. Even when I wasnt playing, I couldnt make myself go home. I spent about 12 hours a day, for 4 days- outside watching and playing. Food was nearby, music was good, and I cant stop thinking about how great I thought this outdoor tournament was!!! I think this is the future of large scale racquetball entertainment!! That tournament should be every 3 months instead of once a year!!!
In town until Saturday, looking for a pick up game with any open players. Let me know. 714-402-0101
I watched your match on the Tennis channel the other night, You didnt really play with that fire and emotion people are used to seeing. I was wondering how you felt? Were you tired from the week, or just not feel like yourself? The comentators had not seen you play the way you did. Just was wondering your take on what happen in that particular match against Rocky.

Thanks
BluntBrad
