Tecnifibre has a model called the 505 Fit, available in Great Britain for racketball (looks like a slower verion of our racquetball, played on a squash court). Good looking frame with nice specs, 22", 165g, stiff frame.

Anyone know if Tec plans on bringing this to the US market? They seem to be doing pretty well in squash and tennis and make good rball strings. I sent an email but haven't gotten a response. Anyone "in the know" know?

Looks like their same lineup from a few years ago with new paint schemes. I believe the frame was a copy of the old Ektelon Ripstick-not a bad frame but certainly nothing fancy. I actually bought a few of the original mustard-yellow Harrow frames years ago and liked them quite a bit. Very comfy, control-oriented frames, not much on power. At least the frames are a lot less expensive this time around. Always good to have another company making rball racquets, though it seems Harrow is putting the same (lack of) effort into this go-around. :)
Unfortunately, I have a severe L4-5 disc extrusion and will be taking a year off from racquetball (history of L4-5 issues over the last 4-5 years). The good news for you is a great deal!
1.PK HC2 170, SS grip, in like-new shape. I literally hit with the racquet ~10 minutes. The plastic is still on the grip, as I put a replacement grip over it for the demo session. Barely a scratch on it.
2. (2) brand new PK Pure One gloves -size right Large
3. PK Shadow eyeguard-used one time and look brand new, still in the box

Yours for $100 shipped USPS Priority Mail in the lower 48. 100% positive feedback under Kevdiggity40 on Ebay and Kevin T over at Tenniswarehouse.com. Contact me at kevdiggity40@live.com and thanks for looking.

p.s. throw in an extra $35 and you get a PK core Shadow 170, SS grip, easily 9/10 condition. It probably has 30 minutes of racuetball on it and not a scratch on the headguard.

Big-hitting stick but I just can't quit the butter-smooth Core Shadow 170. :) Yours for $90 shipped USPS Priority Mail. 100% positive feedback under Kevdiggity40 on Ebay and Kevin T over at Tenniswarehouse.com. Cross train with squash? Here's a great deal.

(1)racquet hit with for 10 minutes but plastic still on handle, the other (2) brand new/never used frames, plastic still on the handle and one case included. I'll ship all three via USPS Priority Mail in the continental US for $110. Nice frame with excellent power, plays similar to the Head Metallix/MicroGel 130/145 lines with greater comfort due to the kinetic mass. These are tough to find in the states and originally sold for >$150 each. Living in an area without squash courts at the moment, so my gear is up for sale. Would also consider trades for these rball racquets ONLY:
PK KM 700
PK Core Shadow 170 or 180

Nice looking frame that I will probably demo. Anyone know if it really is the same frame as the old Klite, with the addition of longer mainstrings? The reason I ask is that Wilson used to be famous for bringing out a year or two old model with the same name/fancy new graphics/low, low price, but the composition would be graphite/fiberglass rather than 100% graphite. Also come with a free Redzone glove, so it seems like a great deal. Thanks!

My wife had me going through storage boxes the other night and I stumbled upon my first Racquetball Mag issues from 1993-1996. I started playing in college during this time and I had a great time looking at pics of the pros in action. I also remember seeing the IRT on ESPN 2 back then. Swain, Sudsy, Hogan, Mannino are still in the public eye (at least in a racquetball sense) but does anyone know what some of these guys are up to?

Tim Sweeney-great athlete, very quick/powerful/smooth

Mike Ray-always pegged as the "control" player amongst power guys

Drew Katchtik (spelling?)-seemed like a tense competitor

Andy Roberts-didn't he have a racquetball academy at one point?

Dave Johnson-watched a great match between him and Swain, very athletic guy

Mike Guidry-seemed like a good all-around player

Tim Doyle-works with E-Force, right?

Jack Newman-wrote a lot of instruction articles in Rball Mag-I think I read that he has a financial services company

Thanks for any input!
Prefer the 170 but would probably take a Core 180, any grip size, gently used or new. Contact Kevin at kevdiggity40@live.com Thanks!!
So Head's stuff is out and I've seen some mention of new Ektelon, Wilson and GB stuff. Anyone know what PK and E-Force are coming out with? I'm particularly interested in PK and Wilson and would love any info. Even though many of the companies don't release the new gear until August, it seems like we used to get more info in April/May in years past?
Don't think I've seen any posts on this. I know Manny had a few items last year but the KM website never took off and haven't seen anything else. Any info?
Can't beat squash as cross-training for racquetball. HC2 140 model, top of the line squash racquets from a couple of years ago. You can see pics here:

One is brand new, never played. The other I played 2 matches with, only very mild scuffs on the bumper guard and on the butt cap. My little girl was teething at the time (no kidding) and scraped the PK label off the cap-only superficial, no wear to the butt cap. These sold for over $100 new, both can be yours for $80 shipped, covers included. I'll also throw in at least one (maybe two if I have that many) Karakal PU grips. contact Kevin at kevdiggity40@live.com
Many positive refs on Tenniswarehouse under Kevin T and 100% feedback on Ebay under kevdiggity40. Thanks for looking!
Brand new, plastic still on the handle. Cover included. Going with Wilson this year, so get a great deal on a great racquet (and the basis of Kane's KM 175). Contact kevin at kevdiggity40@live.com or send a PM. Paypal works for me. Many positive refs on tenniswarehouse under Kevin T and 100% positive feedback on ebay under kevdiggity40. Thanks!
My connection wasn't great but it looked to me like Kane was back to using his old KM 175 (like in the Lawler tourney)?
Mitch is probably my favorite player. Was he hurt or just not interested in playing? Anyone know?
Hello all,

I play with a model (PK Core Shadow 170/180) that is currently only available in SS grip but I use XS. I need to stock up on a few but will also need to increase the grip on the SS frames. I've used heat shrink sleeves on tennis frames with success but since I use a rubber grip (Python) in racquetball, are these an option? Has anyone just put an additional rubber grip on top of another? I've also tried increasing the grip with tape but it seems to alter the bevels/grip shape. Any help greatly appreciated!

Anyone hit with these frames (either 170 or 180 or both) and can make a comparison? I liked the Shadow 175 and 185 back in the day but also think the core shadows may be a little stiffer with a little more power. Are the newer Shadows still 100% graphite? They look like great sticks for <$90 but I haven't hit a PK I liked better than the Shadow 170/180. Thanks for any replies.
Let me first state that I'm not a sponsored player and never have been sponsored, so no sell-offs here. First $150+$15 shipping (it will be a big/heavy package) takes the package and here's what you get:

(1) Pk core Shadow 170 racquet in XS grip, never used but no plastic on handle, with cover
(1) Pk core platinum 175 racquet in XS grip, never used but no plastic on handle, with cover
(1) Pk racquet bag, new and never used from last season's collection (blue/black/silver scheme)
(1) set PK Shadow eyeguards, also new and never used
If you have larger hands and/or just want them anyway, (2) PK ovation rt hand gloves in XL

Great package for a beginner or advanced player. Thanks for looking. Sorry but only looking to sell as a package deal.
The above racquet is brand new, I removed the plastic on the handle and the face card to practice swing but it's never been played with. I use and prefer the Core Shadow but received this as a gift. Full length cover included. $65+$10 shipping USPS Priority mail. I have 100% positive feedback on Ebay under kevdiggity40 and under Kevin T at www.tenniswarehouse.com. Will also consider trades for PK Core 170 or 180 in similar condition or Wilson KZen, KSurge in similar condition. Thanks!

www.doubledonut.com mentioned there would be big news from PK announced during national singles...anyone got the scoop? I'm sure it had something to do with Kane? Thanks for any info.!
