Do the top indoor pros play with a different racquet model when playing outdoor?
The same with the top OD guys. Different racquet when indoor?
Different model, weight, grip, string tension? Just curious. Thanks.

I've learned a lot reading this thread.
What is the consensus of 18ga string?
Thanks for your experiences.

A friend recently bought a used racquet on E-Bay. The frame is like new but the strings in the sweet spot were worn (fuzzy). He asked if he should restring. I said they are probably cheap manufacturer strings, to maximize profit, and would recommend restringing with a better string. Another player said don't worry about it, play them until they break, it doesn't really make a differance. He said he always plays his racquets til the strings break and doesn't notice a drop-off. I can't imagine how a string that is starting to tatter can not produce a noticable drop-off. Any opinions on performance deteriation on structure or string life?
Thanks

Wow, what a year!
Croft won enough total points to win slightly more than half a game.
Congratulations to Kane on the greatest year ever!!!

I believe we will see statistics for this fantasy year sooner or later.
At this stage he only competes with himself.

Leo posted "As long as I have known Kane, he has always wanted to beat me ay ANYTHING that involved competing, basketball, golf, even tossing something in the garbage can."
... was this the turning point in Kanes career?

I just want to wish all the pretenders, contenders, and mindbenders the best of fortunes. You OD's (take that as you wish!) are truly a unique blend of personalities. Your play and particularly play (camaraderie) is funny as hell and out right cool. Don't let the ID's take over. Beyond Mannino no other ID is going to come on here and trash talk and interact the way you boys do. Kudos to all and thanks for the entertainment. Now quit talking and earn the bragging.

Just noticed at the Seattle pro stop Kane put a serious whopp'n on Josh to the tune of 0,1,1.
Would there be a substantial different outcome under the sun because of the strategies/experience? Rout to a competitive match. Loss to a win.

Congratulations to all the participants and a bow and tip of the hat to all the divisional champs. It sure was fun watching the matches and following the draws in a timely manner.
A special salute to R.O. and Jack. Good lord down 2-10 in the TB and come back and win??? gimme a break!! To Mitch and Ben ... fantastic match and effort. IT wasn't anything you guys didn't do, it was what they did. You would have been deserving champs. Salute.

I was bumping around and noticed the omnious lock on the Dubai thread. I guess what I don't understand is why on this forum, in general, a difference of opinion sets an atmosphere of Lock this subject. I thought Mvancleave and Control Freak voiced well constructed opinions on a subject I am not well versed. There is nothing wrong with learning or disagreeing.
Totosnm finally made the cry of lock this thread. Both people were in-line but stating a different POV. He also posted, " I THINK THIS THREAD SHOULD LOCKED. My friends do not forget that this a racquetball forum, I believe that there are plenty of open forums where".
Simple power of obsevation would note this Header as General Discussion and right underneath in clear print ... (gasp) ... "Talk about anything, off topic or otherwise"

Man if something bothers you, stay away. I'm sure you know what is best for everyone but maybe, just maybe, sometimes you don't.
Mv and CF, thanks for your perspectives. You handled yourselves like champion debators.

Was watching Wimbledon this morning and someone hit a shot and one of the commentators thought it looked like a squash shot. The other (stick your finger) asked isn't that sport dead? First commentator said it is still played mainly on the east coast. Ouch then stated "racquetball"???

Everyone do you think the high altitude players are putting a little fear into the hearts of some of the higher seeds after Colorado? Predictions?

Congratulations to Jack and Jason. Jack nice year ..... 11 tier1 events, 9 finals, 7 championships, 2 major finals and 1 major championship. Glad to hear from (some) of the masses that you are finally coming around, because some "I have heard" that you are not what they want you to be. Irony in that people who talk to you walk away with a respect. Confusing
Jason, you are like wine. Wonderful season. #2 ranked, numerous finals, both major finals and 1 major title. Desire ... I think a picture of you is next to it in the dictionary.
Best wishes to the rest. It seems to be tightening up every week. I can't wait for this to start all over again this fall.
Now let's get back to our regular selves.
